Content Management System (CMS) Website
The Situation
TEC Edmonton is a business service provider, helping transform technologies into business opportunities with the goal of focusing on Alberta innovation. In a joint venture between the University of Alberta and the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), TEC was looking for someone to develop a new content management system that would function alongside their internal business tools.
Primal's Approach
Before the CMS website, Primal Tribe created for TEC Edmonton an award-winning annual report design. This design was presented at the Annual Report Awards hosted by June Warren in 2008. Along with other print collateral came the CMS website with custom programming and third party SharePoint integration. The goal of TEC’s new website was to put a lot of their manual processes online, allowing for project collaboration, access to databases and forms, and an upgrade the company’s overall image.
Primal Tribe was a perfect match for this online project; we had a team of creative designers as well as the Microsoft Gold Certified programmers to make the system functional and dynamic. Overall, the new website has proven to be very successful for employees and clients of TEC Edmonton, and has freed up a lot of their time.
