Valard is one of Canada’s largest powerline contractors, serving clients across the country. Existing since 1978, Valard offers construction services in overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, among other services vital to the industry.

Content Management System (CMS) Web Design, Logo Design, Print Design
The Story
Valard had become a leader in the powerline construction industry. The name had existed for almost 30 years, but now it needed a look that indicated the company’s excellent progress. Marketing to potential employees was an important focus in redesign.
The Solution
Updating Valard’s look began with the company logo. While using the same colours and symbolism, our designers created a modern logo design that still contained the company’s established appearance.
Next to change was Valard’s web design. The previous HTML website had outdated information that did not reflect Valard’s success in the industry, or the extent to which the company had grown. We developed a content management system that showcases Valard’s services, as well as portfolio of completed projects. The site also features a special section for recruiting new employees.
In preparation for an upcoming tradeshow, Valard asked Primal Tribe to create a brochure that would be used to promote the company to potential employees. The brochure was an ideal complement Valard’s website.
Quick Fact
As a content management system, Valard’s website can be easily updated and maintained by employees.
