Alberta Pork is non-profit marketing commission that represents and supports hog producers in Alberta. They aim to be an informative and visionary leader for one of Alberta’s most important agricultural industries.

Content Management System (CMS) Web Design
The Story:
Alberta Pork is the voice for many hog producers – but the corporation wasn’t equipped to lead and support these producers like it wanted to. Hog producers needed access to industry information, but the current HTML website was not built to be easily maintained; it couldn’t keep up with the needs of the audience.
The Solution:
Primal Tribe worked with Alberta Pork to create a CMS web design. The CMS provided usability needed to keep the website current. The user-friendly CMS interface allowed Alberta Pork employees to add pages and edit content, whether they had a background in web administration or not.
The biggest challenge was organizing the existing content so that it was easy to navigate. Primal Tribe researched the needs of the company as well as websites in similar industries to determine a layout that would work for Alberta Pork. Our team also incorporated a search function and classified section so that visitors could quickly find what they were looking for.
Thanks to Primal Tribe’s intuitive web design, Alberta Pork’s website had a professional new look and inviting layout for users. What was formerly an outdated resource was now a valuable information portal.
Quick Fact:
The Alberta Pork website is now over 1,000 pages and growing, thanks to our easy-to-use CMS web design that allows clients to add to their own content.
