Henry Singer is a high-end men’s fashion retailer, with locations in Edmonton and Calgary. Its target demographic is young men with an appreciation for style and quality.

The Story
Primal Tribe worked on two major projects with Henry Singer. First, Henry Singer had a Microsoft Exchange intranet that allowed employees to access user manuals and information about the company. However, the interface was bland and generic, not at all reflecting the company’s distinct style. Henry Singer needed a team who understood the importance of communicating their brand not just to customers, but also to employees.
Second, Primal Tribe helped Henry Singer to develop a ground-up custom Point of Purchase (POP) system. Their industry often made use of unique and single order items from top designers around the world; most available POP systems were not capable of meeting the store’s specific needs.
The Solution
To modify the Microsoft Exchange intranet system Primal Tribe worked with Henry Singer to apply a graphic design that was consistent with the company’s corporate branding. Our web designers were able to work with all content provided and adapt it to the medium.
It wasn’t as simple as slapping a design onto the website. Our programmers researched Henry Singer’s software to determine the best way to incorporate a web design without hindering the site’s functions. Data had to be easily accessible for employees, but otherwise secure from anyone outside of the company. We also provided technical support until the intranet was running without a hitch. The result: a website that maintained Henry Singer’s branding standards as it seamlessly wove design and function into each of Henry Singer’s three retail concepts.
The custom designed POP system developed by Primal Tribe is now used as a convenient online tool that categorizes, converts, orders, stores and coordinates purchases from around the globe into a localized Point of Sale system at their retail locations. Primal Tribe continues to work Henry Singer to build new functions and utilities that suit this exclusive company.
