Sawridge Inns and Conference Centres is a group of hotels that has strong historical and cultural roots. Founded by the Sawridge Cree Indian Band of Slave Lake, the Sawridge image is about authenticity, warmth and comfort for all their guests.

The Project

Web design, logo design, print collateral, tradeshow booth, corporate branding and marketing.

The Story

Sawridge needed a new marketing strategy that would portray them as the authentic, warm hospitality providers they saw themselves to be. They needed a design team that could provide direction, and help them update and solidify their brand.

The Solution

Primal Tribe took their request one step further, proposing a branding strategy that involved the creation of a new logo and look to reflect the cultural and historical identity of Sawridge. Colour schemes and themes were established to convey Sawridge values across all marketing materials.

From this point, Primal Tribe worked with Sawridge to provide a CMS website, a full spectrum of marketing materials, and a promotional video that would enhance the image of this prominent and growing group of luxury hotels. Every piece of collateral features elements, imagery and colours that are warm and natural; formerly disconnected, all marketing collateral works in harmony to strengthen the brand as a whole.

To create a brand that truly reflected Sawridge Inns and Conference Centres, Primal Tribe flew to Peace River and sat down with Sawridge executives and managers for a day of branding exercises.
