Banff Alberta Canada is world renowned for its natural beauty and wilderness. Banff Adventures Unlimited is a proud steward of this natural area bringing adventurers from around the world to experience the rugged, life-changing experiences available in the region. To bring these great adventure getaways to the world we worked to design an award-winning new website, and developed repeatable promotional routines to bring online guests to the new website with a global reach. The website has been a huge success for their business, hitting record bookings on their exciting adventure packages across all seasons.

1. Inspire Website Visitors to Explore Online
Selling experiences is a tough task. The buyer must be able to envision their future adventures and be able to compare their alternatives. For Banff Adventures, this was a communication challenge they were just waiting to crack. We worked with Banff Adventures’ marketing team to understand their unique enthusiasm and method for matching adventurers to just the right adventures. Our task was to translate this passion into an inspiring website design that would help website visitors envision their next adventure online. We think we were successful, and the website (launched in 2012) won a Silver Award for Best Tourism Website from W3 Awards that same year.
2. Bring Repeatable Success to Build Bookings
A well-designed website is a good start to make the most of the website’s visitors; however, it’s no good without any visitors. Banff Adventures had not focused on their website promotions to drive new bookings. We worked closely with their seasonal operations to introduce Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Content-based Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Traffic Generation programs. Leading each season we worked to add new content written by our team to strengthen the website’s usefulness and attractiveness to Search Engines like Google. This approach has built upon successes season by season reporting an increase of 83% in overall website traffic in the first year, and boasting over 70% increase in online bookings.
